About Lee Jia Hao

Jia Hao is a Financial Consultant with Alpha Private Wealth Advisory (APWA). Typical of most young Singaporeans, the aspiration of owning a residential property while starting a family might seem far-fetch which led him to quickly take up personal finance while serving national service. It was natural for him to take up multiple online personal finance courses through the years and eventually got licensed to advise on investment and insurance products.

He continues to be the sphere of influence in personal finances to all he had interacted with and strives to add value through constant engagement and educating the right money management values. As a fellow Gen Z, he fully fathoms the financial issues current youths faced in society and thus is able to address those pain points realistically and practically.

His Story

Being comfortable in my former work as an aquarist gradually got me thinking that I might be inching closer to apathy for new opportunities. A new conviction has to transpire and that was where I took a leap of faith and got into the finance industry where dictating working schedule and making an impact on lives one at a time is a career goal I was striving for.

But….

My foremost preoccupation was whether a self-employed career in this particular field was sustainable in the long run? This thought quickly dissipate when I met Dexter and my current mentor, Johnny. They envision a team that integrates the trademark Total Portfolio Advisory Approach (TPA) with artificial intelligence that disrupts traditional markets. The team prides itself with a digitally enabled financial planning solution embellished with a personal touch. I know this is a platform that fits perfectly with my personality and strongly believes this is where I can forge a trustable relationship with clients.

Qualifications & Accolades

Jia Hao graduated from University of Stirling with B.Sc Aquaculture (Hons) having previously been the sole recipient of both the prestigious Resorts World Sentosa SEA Aquarium Scholarship and Director's Roll of Honours in his cohort. He is currently pursuing the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) Program.
