Wealth Management Intern
Our internship program at Alpha Private Wealth Advisory, aims to support those who have recently graduated or will soon be graduating from the Polytechnics, Universities, and other private educational institutions in 2022 or 2023, to take up traineeship opportunities across various sectors. This includes those who graduated from the above institutions and recently completed National Service in 2022/2023.
These traineeships will help graduates develop their skills professionally even during the current economic climate. With a duration of up to 12 weeks, these traineeships will equip young locals with valuable industry experience and allow them to gain a firmer foothold in the job market during the economic recovery.
Preliminary training for the position will focus in the following areas:
- Financial Advisory Process
- Different Asset Classes & Investment Products
- Mortgage Financing
- Tax Reduction and Employment of SRS
- Employment of Risk Management
- Employment of Wills/Trust and LPA
- Sales Techniques
- Personal Branding
- Business Strategies
- SME Business Consultancy
About Program Director
This program is designed and led by the Program Director, Mr Dexter Koh. He comes with a wealth of experience in managing internship programs and educational workshops.
He currently heads the top and multi award winning Alpha Private Wealth Advisory ( Unit and Investment Committee in Alpha Wealth Financial Advisors.
He holds the following academic qualifications and certifications:
- Master of business administration (Dean’s list), Singapore Management University
- Post graduate Diploma in Learning Science Instructions, National Institute of Education
- Bachelor of Engineering in Systems Engineering, Nanyang Technological University
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP©
- Singapore Accredited Mortgage Planner (SAMP TM
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, QAI
- ISO 9001 2008 Internal Auditor
He is also active in the academic circles and currently serves as an Advisor to the SMU MBA Alumni Exco as well as Vice Chair of various sub committees in Singapore Recreation Club

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Using their knowledge of software programs like Final Cut Pro, Canva and Photoshop to create visual pieces
- Responsible for a range of tasks, like animation and narration, editing and arranging videos or developing program material.
- Producing audio and video content to be used online, for commercials, for motion pictures and more
- Possessing a solid understanding of technology and using it to manage the creation of content for digital formats
- Manage and monitor resources, schedules, and media production expectations.
- Identify and convey issues delaying or interrupting media development procedure.
- Interact with top-level staff inclusive of editors, publishers, and senior management.
